Understanding the Costs of an Eye Exam

We are often lucky in Canada, depending on province, to have our kids and seniors eye exams covered. In Ontario OHIP covers regular eye exams for kids under 19 or Seniors over 65.

Should you fall outside of these ages you may also be covered if you are a diabetic. Diabetic eye exams are often covered, should you provide a letter from your current doctor and a list of medications you take.
